I have an Applied Science degree from Snead State Community College in Animal Health Technology and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Athens State University.

I was in charge of the Health Room at Priceville Jr. High School from 1990 unil 1996.  In 1996 I became an aide in the Emotionally Disturbed junior high unit at Priceville Jr. High.  I was there until I came to Cotaco School in 1999.  Since being at Cotaco, I have taught one semester of third grade, 15 1/2 years of 5th grade, and three years of sixth grade.

I am originally from Jefferson County and have lived in Limestone and Morgan Counties.  I have a husband, two children, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, three granddaughters, one grandson, one sister, two cats, two dogs, and one tank of fish.  My daughter, son, and daughter-in-law are all education majors.  My husband is employed at GE in Decatur.  I enjoy sewing, reading, gardening, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
